Panel Discussion “Leading a Sustainable Transformation at Speed” in Barcelona 1536 856 ITCC

ITCC recently moderated a panel discussion titled “Leading a Sustainable Transformation at Speed,” as part of the SCM Leaders Forum. This event was organized by Industry IoT from 20-21 March 2024 at the Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Innovation Hub in Barcelona.

Clara Neppel, the head of ITCC and Irene Kitsara, the European Standardization Initiatives Director at IEEE, attended the event. Irene Kitsara took on the role of moderator for the panel which included Gunter Dr. Beitinger from Siemens, Tim Marsden from Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Simon Bowes from BlueYonder, and Carlos Tapia Arrate from IE Business School.

Through use cases, firsthand experiences, and the challenges they’ve encountered, leaders in manufacturing and supply chain from the panel detailed their sectors’ journeys towards a green digital transformation. They discussed the critical need for advancements in supply chain logistics through digitalization and technical innovation, all while prioritizing sustainability in production processes.
