On October 23-24, Clara Neppel (Head of ITCC) contributed to the Clean-IT Conference in Potsdam, Germany, at a panel which included representatives from Schneider Electric, Cloud provider plusserver, and academia. The aim of this international platform is the exchange of ideas to make the digital world more sustainable. High-ranking policy and industry leaders engaged in a dialogue with academia and civil society to address the pressing issue of how digital technologies can support the fight against climate change and what needs to be done to reduce the carbon footprint of digitalization.
