AI and Sustainability

Sustainable AI is essential to harness the benefits of technologies like generative AI while safeguarding our environment and finite resources. But how can industries incorporate sustainability into the design of AI systems? While ethical considerations throughout the lifecycle of AI systems have long been a core aspect of responsible AI and AI-related regulatory frameworks, sustainability is a newer focus.

Take Our Survey!

Conversations about the environmental impact of AI at policy and implementation levels emphasize the need to integrate sustainability considerations during the design phase, rather than treating them as an afterthought.

To learn more about our work on the theme of AI and Sustainability, we invite you to join or rewatch our series of webinars on various topics related to sustainable AI systems. As we enter a critical phase, discussions on advancing sustainable AI are becoming central to political discourse, standardization initiatives, and emerging regulations.
